October 1st!

First comes Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then New Years, the Valentines day...well....you know how it goes. We have an upcoming multitude of excuses to justify not losing weight. What are you going to do to withstand all the temptations? Make a plan now. Don't make "in the moment" decisions. They are usually the wrong ones.

Charting was my friend while losing. Seeing progress on paper or on the computer screen really helps to stay focused on your goal. Set a projected weight loss goal for each month or week. Track your progress and see where you may be making mistakes to correct and stay on track. Accountability is key to success. No excuses, no justifications, no unplanned eating. Keep it real and stay honest about what you are doing.
